    • Pause a case: SLA time calculation will get paused when a cause is paused. Paused case statuses can be configured by org admin (system settings). Pausing can be turned off at SLA level.
    • Pau a case On hold: time will be tracked for case records (based on associated business hours)
    • Tracking and Reporting: SLA statuses & times will be tracked in a separate entity

    • Rollup Fields
      • Rollup fields used to capture key business metrics at a record level for related entities with one-to-many relationships
      • Rollup fields also provide the ability to aggregate data over hierarchies for more complex scenarios.
      • You can define the entity rollup fields as decimal, whole number, currency or date and time.
      • Aggregates are rolled up from child records to parent record.
      • Rollup fields are calculated by synchronous system jobs that run every hour by default and adjustable by an administrator.
      • Rollup fields are solution components and can be distributed between organizations and distributed in a solution.
    • Calculated Fields
      • Can be created in the CRM user interface without the need to write code
      • Conditions and formulas can refer to values within the same or related entities
  • Business Rule Improvements
    • Introduced in CRM 2013
    • Now with both client and server side execution through the SDK
    • Rules can be executed on create or update on form specific actions
    • Enhanced expression syntax
    • Support for default value and behaviors
  • Business Process Flow Improvements
    • Branching support allowing for adaptation based on information captured on the form
    • Enhanced client API for complete programmatic access and control
  • Hierarchical Security
    • In addition to the tradition security architecture
    • Allow for granular record access based on management chain or position hierarchy
    • Hierarchical security was designed to address common security scenarios that would have needed to be implemented manually through customization with sharing.

    • Introduced in CRM 2011 as a way to restrict access to information in custom fields
    • Now available for OOB fields with exceptions for non-customizable fields
